The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to join our Facilities Division in the Public Works Department. This is an in-person position.
Requirements
- Assists with the operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, including controls, thermostats, and minor refrigerant components.
- Maintains and repairs facility components, including doors and associated hardware; windows; siding and trim; drywall and interior finishes; roofs and roofing systems; flooring; general carpentry; painting; tile; and other finishes, systems, and components.
- Provides routine and preventative maintenance on building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Performs skilled maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of a variety of facility components, including, but not limited to, electrical systems; lighting, overhead doors, plumbing fixtures; and similar devices.
- Repairs and replaces appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, disposals, water heaters, washers, and dryers.
- Performs interior and exterior painting, drywall repairs, and applies texture
- Works with all town departments, vendors, contractors, and the public.
