Job Description
Toyon Research Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team developing advanced aerospace products for critical national defense systems. The role requires strong mechanical analysis, design, and drafting skills, with a focus on vibration, shock, and temperature environments. The position involves conceptualization, detailed analysis, technical drawing package development, manufacturing process development, and specifications creation.
Requirements
- B.S. or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience designing structures experiencing challenging vibration, shock, and temperature environments
- Experience with mechanical analysis and design (SME Y14.5, ASME drafting standards)
- Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100/MIL Specifications
- Experience using parametric CAD software
- Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) tools preferred
