Job Description
Toyon is seeking a Software Engineer to develop object-oriented software in C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python, designed for use in a highly technical environment. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and performing analysis, with a focus on mission-critical planning for government customers and collaborative development. The position requires a qualified individual demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative working style.
Requirements
- Excellent thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with others to conceptualize and solve problems
- Object-oriented software development in C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python and/or other (React and/or TypeScript)
- Experience designing, developing and performing analysis with database management systems, geographic Information systems, and/or other (DBMS, SQL, GIS such as ArcGIS, etc.)
- Understanding of software and systems engineering for multi-machine deployments
- Ability to configure and maintain virtual machines and host servers
