Job Description
The Engineering Manager will be responsible for establishing and growing software engineering teams in Wrocław, Poland. The role requires technical direction and leadership, with a focus on mentorship, team development, and performance management.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years in a leadership role in an agile environment
- Experience with software design patterns and software delivery work related to high-volume data streams and IOT experience a plus
- Familiarity with software development processes and software architecture within an enterprise Java environment
- Proven experience leading and growing engineering teams
- Solid experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish
- Experience in communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders and executives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of delivering scalable, performant solutions
- Experience working in high-growth or changeable environments, adapting to rapidly changing priorities, and scaling engineering operations
