Job Description
Toyota Research Institute (TRI) is seeking a motivated Summer 2026 Intern to learn about how people behave on the road and how to interact with them. The internship focuses on creating AI approaches to improve machine understanding and interaction with humans within the company's robotics and automated driving research teams. Interns will work with researchers in areas like human-robot interaction, trajectory prediction, and AI tutoring.
Requirements
- Ph.D. Student in related fields (ML/AI, robotics, human-centric AI, computer vision).
- Publication background in relevant venues.
- Experience working in a team on scientific projects.
- Familiarity with Pytorch/TensorFlow.
