Job Description
As a Radioactives Chemist Team Lead, you will manage key customer waste from initial enquiry to final disposal, ensuring compliance and efficiency. You will lead complex teams and demonstrate a strong ability to manage and respond to customer enquiries, provide technical support, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Qualified Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) or working towards
- Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Word and SAP)
- Ability to manage staff (act as a line manager)
- H&S and Environmental Legislation
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor (DGSA) relating to radioactives as a minimum but ideally with a relevant qualification
- Knowledge of the UK radioactive waste management and nuclear industry
