Field Calibration Technician

Transcat is a dynamic, innovative, growing company that has been recognized as the leading calibration and compliance services provider in North America and beyond. We are looking for a Field Calibration Technician to provide onsite calibration of test equipment for customers within the specified location up to and including an 8-hour radius.

Requirements

• Calibrate measurement and test equipment (M&TE) to manufacturers' specifications
• Determine out of tolerance conditions for customer M&TE and calibration standards
• Provide corrective action (i.e., adjustments, minor repairs) for out of tolerance conditions
• Update and maintain proper documentation of services
• Provide customer with information regarding other services and new equipment provided by Transcat
• Maintain calibration standards
• Provide feedback and updates regarding calibration practices and procedures
• Proficiency in submitting and updating required paperwork for travel and administrative purposes
