Lead Java Engineer

XTM International, an acquired leader in localization technology, is seeking a Lead Java Engineer to lead cross-functional Scrum teams and contribute to the codebase. The role involves technical leadership, team management, and process improvement, focusing on delivering high-quality software and engineering excellence. XTM is expanding to a cloud-based, containerized architecture.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role (e.g., Engineering Manager or Tech Lead).
• Strong foundation in software engineering and software delivery lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with Java and Spring development; familiarity with React, AWS, and microservice architectures.
• Proven experience hiring, developing, and retaining diverse technical talent.
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and alignment across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working closely with product managers and other business stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
• Fluency in Polish is a plus.
