The Sales Engineer (SE) is the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers, helping close deals by proactively managing and delivering technical value in person, online, and over the phone.
Requirements
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, providing in-depth knowledge of Trend Micro’s cybersecurity solutions in dynamic, high-pressure pre-sales environments.
- Conduct Proof of Concept (PoC) engagements to demonstrate product capabilities and support deployment architecture planning and implementation.
- Troubleshoot software and network issues in complex, multi-vendor environments.
- Continuously expand knowledge of Trend Micro’s current and upcoming products and maintain awareness of the broader security landscape.
- Share knowledge and best practices with the SE team to promote efficiency and consistency across engagements.
- Deliver technical training sessions to partners, customers, and internal teams when necessary.
- Contribute to the SE Readiness Program and develop Subject Matter Expertise in assigned technologies and products.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback and feature requests to Product Management.
- Support alliance initiatives and collaborate with technology partners and customers to build joint value.
