Job Description
TruWest Holdings is seeking a Field Service Technician to support a customer in and around Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and open to taking on new challenges. They are a people person who can be an effective liaison between the company and the customer.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of wireless network architecture and troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of industrial mobile computing operating systems including Android and Windows CE
- Basic understanding of industrial mobile computing hardware configuration and troubleshooting
- Basic understanding of barcode data collection including symbologies, hardware, programming, and troubleshooting
- Must have familiarity with EPC RFID data collection and hardware
- Basic understanding of barcode printing technologies
- Basic understanding of cloud computing
- Basic understanding of terminal emulation and session management software
- Ability to develop expertise in terminal emulation software and session management
- Basic understanding of mobile device management software and procedure
- Ability to develop expertise in various mobile device management software
- Ability to assess critical outages and quickly determine resources needed for resolution
