Job Description
Tri-Mach is a leading provider of sanitary stainless steel solutions, specializing in custom equipment and services for the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries. We are looking for an Electrical and Controls Designer who will be responsible for designing various mechanical devices and working closely with our team to ensure project success.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in automation or material handling
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical schematics and layouts
- Experience using SolidWorks
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics, blueprints, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of motors, motor control systems, and automation hardware
- Experience with custom automation, conveyors, or material handling systems (asset)
- Resourceful and results-driven with a focus on completing tasks on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with engineering teammates and shop floor staff
