Tri-Mack Plastics is a leading manufacturer of high-temperature thermoplastic components for various industries. The Molding Machine Operator tends injection molding machines, visually inspects parts, and troubleshoots minor issues. The role is fully independent in running multiple machines and executing complicated jobs.
Requirements
- Operate all molding machines in the department
- Independently identify common molding defects
- Independently execute all measurements using various tools
- De-gate and de-flash parts using hand tools
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as band saws and cooling fixtures
- Ensure material is being fed from driers properly
- Maintain machine cleanliness and ensure traceability of materials
- Execute all Preventive Maintenance tasks
- Communicate constraints on productivity to department managers
- Actively pursue opportunities to develop new skills
- Work in a manner that ensures safety and follow company values
- Adhere to all AS9100 requirements
