The Triathlon Group is seeking a Buyer (m/f/d) in Materials Procurement to manage and secure essential materials for their battery production. The role involves sourcing, managing suppliers, ensuring supply security, and adhering to international compliance standards. This position is critical for ensuring reliable and efficient operations in the growing industrial battery sector.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Science, Engineering, or Business
- 5–7 years of professional experience in procurement or supply chain management
- Hands-on experience with commodity-based components (battery assembly preferred)
- Proven track record in managing global suppliers, negotiating contracts, and mitigating market risks
- Practical experience with SAP systems required
- Fluency in German and English (both written and verbal)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Effective team player with strong collaboration abilities
- Results-driven with a proactive approach
- High level of adaptability and flexibility
