Risk Analyst

Join Tricon, a leading global commodity trade and distribution company, as a Risk Analyst. Collaborate with commercial teams to provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis. Apply critical thinking skills to identify and solve problems, and drive improvements. Create and report daily P/L and position reports, reconcile exposures, and ensure commercial transactions and related risks are captured by the Company’s risk systems and risk methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or similar field
• Knowledge of financial market mechanics, valuation of physical/financial contracts
• Advanced Excel and VBA/SQL skills, knowledge of database and data management concepts
• Initiative, critical thinking skills and the ability to solve problems independently
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, writing and presentation skills
• Capacity to work under time-sensitive business and reporting deadlines
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
