Job Description
The Source Inspector (SI) is responsible for inspecting in-process and completed hardware for dimensional and visual inspection. The SI verifies FAI’s and AS9102 compliance. They will inspect at supplier locations, perform material handling, and coordinate with other team members. This role involves working with complex equipment and handling multiple objectives.
Requirements
- Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined components
- Experience in performing FAI’s – AS9102
- Experience with hand measurement tools
- Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
- Knowledge and experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretation
- Valid drivers license and auto insurance required
- Proficient in MS Outlook, EXCEL
- Experience with hand measurement gages
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Fluent English (reading and writing)
