Job Description
The APRN II role involves providing clinical expertise and leadership to patients within a collaborating physician setting. The APRN is a clinical expert who designs, implements, and evaluates patient-specific and population-based programs of care. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team is essential, and proficiency in prescriber authority and prescriptive decision-making are required. APRNs contribute to enhancing patient outcomes and promoting patient and staff education.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Graduate from NP or CNP program
- Specialty certification in area of expertise within one year of start date
- Registered Nurse with APRN Licensure
- Demonstrated expertise in area of clinical specialization
- 3-4 years experience Clinical in Nursing
- Nursing practice in an acute or primary care setting
