Job Description
TriNet is seeking an Accounting Manager to apply GAAP principles in performing account reconciliations, analyzing financial transactions, and preparing financial reports for their clients. This role supports initiatives and process improvements, offering leadership in complex projects and assisting management in oversight. The company is a leading HR solutions provider for SMBs.
Requirements
- Complete monthly financial close activities in complex areas of health benefits and workers’ compensation insurance accounting.
- Consult with and review journal entries prepared by accountants.
- Reconcile and analyze complex balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Assist in implementation and ongoing operation and testing of SOX controls.
- Prepare and review monthly balance sheet flux variances analyses for management reporting.
- Perform technical accounting research into complex accounting issues.
- Maintain general understanding of intercompany accounting and associated journal entries.
