Job Description
The Sr. Accountant will assist in the development and maintenance of accurate financial information, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations, and financial statements for the Health Ministry and Market Record to Report shared services area. The Senior Accountant will demonstrate problem solving skills and an understanding of external, regulatory, payor and other forces impacting health care financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience, such as a long tenure in health care accounting and/or HFMA certifications accepted in lieu of degree requirement
- Minimum three (3) to five (5) years' experience
- Experience working with US GAAP and conducting financial analysis
- CPA and Healthcare exposure preferred but not required
- Experience working with various computer accounting systems and ability to use Microsoft office suite
Benefits
- Hourly Pay Range: $31.88 - $47.82
