Inspector

Inspector position at Triumph Geared Solutions in Park City, UT. Responsibilities include ensuring product and Certification of Conformance to process sketches, blueprint, customer specifications, Manufacturing Order, and Purchase Order requirements, inspecting purchased parts and materials for conformity to standards, specifications, and processing requirements, and interfacing with Buyers, Planners, Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Quality Engineering Departments, & Quality Management for resolution of nonconformances.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing inspections in aerospace manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude, problem solving abilities, basic math skills
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Ability to read and comprehend specs and work instructions
• Ability to work under limited supervision
• Knowledge of inspection equipment i.e. calipers, micrometers, scales, etc..
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally
• Basic GD&T knowledge preferred
• Computer skills & knowledge
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge; Outlook, Word, Excel
