Conduct environmental training programs, study workplace environmental factors, and perform administrative tasks under general supervision. Assist line and staff management to understand OSHA, EPA, EPD, and Sanitation regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Knowledge of state and government environmental regulations
- Ability to work independently in a highly professional manner
- Good organizational skills, meticulous and good public speaking skills
- Ability to understand and apply government regulations related to hazardous materials and waste
- Experience in inspecting for hazardous materials and understanding processes which can produce hazardous wastes and hazardous air pollutants
- Ability to deal effectively with people
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Access
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to function well in multi-tasked environment, be self motivated and open-minded
- Project management skills a must
