Fabricator Technician

The Truck Fabricator Technician is responsible for custom fabrication of customer's trucks, working under the supervision of the Fabricator Team Leader. This role involves a variety of welding, fabrication, and mechanical tasks, and requires a good understanding of the truck build up process. The technician will be responsible for supporting daily shop functions and adapting to the company's procedures.

Requirements

• Support daily shop functions
• Fabricate, modify, and install truck bodies and equipment
• Utilize welding, Torches, Plasma cutters, Shears, Punch presses, Drill press, Metal cutting saws, Fabricate parts as needed.
• Weld ferrous and nonferrous metals using MIG or Arc (electrode) techniques
• Working knowledge of basic office software (Microsoft Office)
• Working knowledge of company software and procedures
• Great attitude and ability to work with others
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
