Job Description
This contract-based position seeks attentive and detail-oriented drivers to join an Autonomous Vehicle Safety Driver team. Drivers will operate autonomous vehicles, collect data, interact with riders and engineers, and monitor vehicle performance. The role is ideal for individuals with excellent driving skills and a passion for innovation, focused on safety.
Requirements
- Experience as an autonomous vehicle operator, driving instructor, motorsports racer, or other profession requiring a commitment to safety and excellent driving skills
- Valid US driving license for the last 3+ years
- Clean driving record with no DUIs, drug, and/or alcohol-related offenses within the last 5 years
- Ability to anticipate hazardous situations and act quickly and safely
- Thorough knowledge of local traffic regulations
- Excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and drive on different types of roads
- Taking ownership with a high level of responsibility
