Job Description
This is a contracted position for an AV Technician to join an Autonomous Vehicle (AV) team. The role involves maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a fleet of autonomous vehicles, working closely with engineering, operations, and remote support teams. Candidates should have a strong understanding of automotive systems and AV-specific hardware.
Requirements
- 3+ years automotive technician experience, or equivalent vocational/technical training
- Proficient diagnosing & repairing mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems
- Strong computer skills: diagnostic software, google suite, JIRA, database logging
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong safety-first mindset
- Familiar with OSHA or equivalent procedures
