Manager, Mechatronics Engineering

Trudell Medical International is seeking a Manager, Mechatronics Engineering to lead a team of engineers and technical professionals in designing and developing new respiratory medical products and technologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical) or a related field of study
• Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation is an asset
• 7-10 years of product development experience within medical devices, consumer products, or a related industry
• 5+ years people management experience
• Experience managing complex product development projects with a proven track record of successfully launching new products
• Experience working within a ISO 13485 regulated environment
• Experience with design of electro/mechanical systems
• Expert level knowledge in mechanical/electrical design
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to lead teams of engineers to achieve results
• Sound understanding of the complete product development lifecycle
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Stage Gate Product Development process experience
• Ability to articulate problems and identify viable solutions
