Job Description
The Vice President of Trading will be responsible for developing and implementing a trading and divestment strategy for TrueAero and its investment partners, sourcing aircraft and engines, and negotiating complex cross-border transactions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a commercial aircraft leasing company, airline, MRO, or OEM
- Degree or equivalent qualification in finance, economics, or a related discipline
- Extensive experience in trading aircraft and engine assets
- Proven track record of successful performance in trading aircraft and engine assets
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and influencing skills
- Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy
- Understanding of investment evaluation techniques, residual risk management, and collateral aircraft valuation
- Knowledge of operating lease terms, asset security issues, delivery and return conditions, and aviation insurance
