Job Description
Prepare cost estimates for product manufacturing, construction projects, or services in the structural steel industry. Coordinate with estimators, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project scope is covered.
Requirements
- Complete material take-offs for structural and miscellaneous steel
- Working up and completing accurate estimates
- Review design drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with other estimators, sub contractors, and vendors
- Entering and maintaining project information into sales software
- Research upcoming projects and aid in developing customer base
- Back up to project management department when needed
- Prompt and dependable attendance
