Welding Quality Control Inspector (Night Shift)

We are looking for committed, focused, detail-oriented individuals to join our quality control team as a Quality Control Inspector. This position is responsible for inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and contract specifications and meet external certification standards.

Requirements

• Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and contract specifications
• Following all company safety and quality requirements
• Ensuring that all materials and workmanship are completed in accordance with standards
• Inspecting materials and finished goods to ensure they meet customer requirements and/or contract specifications
• Documenting and segregating non-conforming fabricated material and workmanship
• Supervising and/or conducting Welder Qualification Test Reports (WQTR)
• Annual calibration of welding equipment, QC inspection equipment and pre-qualifications for bolt
• Remaining current with AWS CWI and City of LA Supervisor &/or Inspector licenses, code analysis, industry standards, procedures and processes
• Representing the company on field issues requiring investigation and decisions associated with product quality and conformance
• Operating overhead crane safely
• Willing to work flexible hours and overtime or weekends as needed
