Director of Government Relations

Trulieve is a rapidly growing company seeking a Director of Government Relations to develop and execute its federal government affairs strategy. The role involves shaping federal cannabis policy, advocating for the company's interests, and building relationships with elected officials and key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Affairs, Law, Communications, or related field
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in government relations, public policy, or regulatory affairs
• Proven success in legislative advocacy and policy development
• Strong network of federal political and administrative contacts
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, presentation, and strategic planning skills
• Strong understanding of federal government processes, and legislative and regulatory frameworks
