Trust Automation seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop various products and systems, focusing on motion control applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in power electronics design, circuit simulation, and system simulation tools.
Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering
- 10+ years of digital and analog circuit design experience
- Experience in power electronics design
- Experience in schematic capture and PCB layout (Altium)
- Experience with electric motors, drive electronics, and power conversion circuits
- Experience with Microcontroller/Microprocessor based systems
- Experience with circuit simulation tools (i.e. – PSpice)
- Capable of technical leadership
- Typically 8+ years of engineering experience
- Practical experience in PCB level component trouble shooting
- Practical experience in electrical system level troubleshooting
- Experience with closed-loop control of motor torque, speed, and position experience
- Control system development experience (i.e. – PID) preferred
- Familiarity with system simulation tools (i.e. – MATLAB, SIMULINK) preferred
- Familiarity with communication interfaces/protocols: SPI, I2C, Modbus, USB, CAN, RS232, RS422/RS485, Ethernet, EtherCAT
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Professional written and verbal communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work effectively with project managers and upper management
Benefits
- Pay scale for this position - $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 annually
