Job Description
Trustfull is seeking a FinOps Engineer to optimize cloud costs, manage budgets, and drive financial accountability for cloud resources. This role involves collaboration with engineering and operations teams, implementing best practices for cloud cost management and analyzing usage patterns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for finance, technology, and creating a sustainable cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Analyze and forecast cloud usage and spending, providing insights and recommendations.
- Develop and implement cost allocation strategies and budgetary controls for cloud expenditures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for resource provisioning, tagging, and usage monitoring.
- Create dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators.
- Provide training and support to teams on cloud cost management principles.
- Continuously monitor cloud spending trends and conduct value assessments.
- Work with procurement and finance teams to manage vendor relationships.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
