Job Description
This Automation & Controls Engineer role focuses on maintaining, programming, and optimizing control systems and automation infrastructure for TruStile’s manufacturing operations. The engineer will troubleshoot machine-level controls, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to improving safety, reducing downtime, and modernizing processes. This is a key role to ensure operational and safety improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in automation, controls, or electrical systems
- Strong working knowledge of PLC logic and troubleshooting (Beckhoff preferred; Allen-Bradley a plus)
- Experience reading and modifying electrical schematics, ladder logic, and panel layouts
- Familiarity with configuring or troubleshooting automation hardware (Light curtains, Area scanners, Encoders and sensors, HMIs and touchscreens)
- Electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V systems (AC and DC)
