Senior Design Engineer - Power modules

We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join our Engineering team in Bedlington, UK. The successful candidate will design and develop power modules, provide technical leadership, and support existing product lines and processes. The role requires experience designing power modules, knowledge of SiC/GaN/Silicon technologies, and familiarity with requirements for aerospace and high-rel applications.

Requirements

• Experience designing power modules or other power products
• Knowledge of SiC / GaN / Silicon technologies and common Semiconductor devices (MOSFET, IGBT, Diodes, Bipolar Transistors etc) and performance requirements
• Familiarity with requirements for aerospace and high-rel applications
• Competent in both mechanical & electronics CAD design and performing thermal, mechanical, and electrical simulations
• A Degree, or HND/HNC with equivalent experience, in an engineering discipline
