The Supply Chain Assistant will provide operational support across all supply chain activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Requirements
- Help create and maintain production and delivery schedules
- Monitor adherence to schedules and update stakeholders on changes or delays.
- Assist in forecasting production demand using orderbook data and working with the Demand Planning team and Customer Account Lead.
- Support preparation of demand plans to align with production and inventory requirements.
- Raise purchase orders for raw materials, components, and services.
- Track order confirmations and delivery timelines to ensure timely supply
- Maintain accurate supplier records and contact details.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, quality concerns, and lead-time queries
- Participate in regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Monitor inventory levels and highlight shortages or excess stock.
- Support Material Requirements Planning (MRP) runs and review outputs
- Ensure data accuracy in ERP/MRP systems for materials and lead times
- Prepare reports on supply chain KPIs (e.g., stock levels, supplier performance)
- Assist with administrative tasks, record keeping, and document control
- Cover booking in and dispatch functions during periods of absence.
