Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains plant equipment, including electric and gas welding, hydraulics, rigging, pipe fitting, and other tasks. Requires a minimum of four years of experience as a millwright and ability to read and understand blueprints and equipment instructions.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience as a millwright
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and equipment instructions
• Ability to weld with enough proficiency to pass a Company welding test in both electrical arc and oxygen/acetylene welding
• Ability to determine what type of rod to use on different types of steel and cast iron
• Thorough familiarity with all aspects of safety in the maintenance field
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• Ability to work all shifts
