Job Description
Tutor Me Education is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Tutors to join their team, providing individualized and adaptive instruction to students in various grade levels. The role involves creating engaging lessons, providing support in both academic and behavioral areas, and using assistive technology. Tutor Me Education values a supportive and nurturing environment for student learning.
Requirements
- New York State Teaching Certification in Special Education
- Must be in good standing with the NYS Department of Education
- Students with Disabilities (SWD) Grades 1-6
- Students with Disabilities (SWD) Grades 7-12
- Bachelor's Degree (minimum requirement)
- Master's Degree
- In special education or a related field
- Experience with IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and 504 Plans
- Specialized Experience (optional)
- Experience with adaptive technology or assistive devices
