Job Description
This online part-time tutoring position is for bilingual Haitian-Creole and English ELA/ELD tutors working with students in grades K-12 across the country. Tutors must be fluent in both languages and provide virtual support in English Language Development. Tutoring hours are flexible and can range from 14-30 weeks, with a few hours of commitment weekly. The role is offered after completion of a community entry.
Requirements
- Experience teaching in U.S. classrooms
- Bilingual fluency in Haitian-Creole and English
- Comfortable teaching English Language Development
- Knowledge of Google Classroom and Zoom
- Active teaching credential (AP course experience is helpful)
- Dedication to advancing equity in schools
