Job Description
TWD is seeking an Intermediate Electrical Designer to support their project development, execution, and engineering services for Energy and Oil & Gas projects. This role involves developing electrical designs, ensuring compliance with codes and standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The position is permanent and based in either Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta.
Requirements
- Develop and revise electrical design drawings for oil and gas processing facilities.
- Perform load calculations, cable sizing, and fault analysis.
- Prepare cable schedules, junction box layouts, and termination diagrams.
- Support EHT (Electric Heat Tracing) layout and design.
- Participate in site visits and support construction planning.
- Ensure all work complies with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC), CSA standards, and AER directives.
- Respond to RFIs and provide redlines during field execution.
