Job Description
Twist Bioscience is seeking a Protein Scientist to join the Tech Transfer team, developing and implementing new methods for high-throughput protein characterization. The role involves troubleshooting manufacturing processes, collaborating with subject matter experts, and contributing to the production of new protein-based products. The position offers a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment with opportunities to work with a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Protein Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field, or M.S. with 2–5 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in protein purification and characterization techniques.
- Familiarity with analytical methods such as SEC, DLS, DSF, BLI, SPR, MS, enzymatic activity assays.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, scientific judgment, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to troubleshoot, train, and mentor others.
