Job Description
This position is for a Database Administrator responsible for maintaining and improving the database infrastructure for development, testing, education, and production environments. This role involves data migration, backup & recovery, security, performance monitoring, and providing technical support to application development teams. The role is key to ensuring data integrity and system uptime.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in It or related studies.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Strong communication skills with management, development teams, and vendors.
- Self-starter with strong attention to detail.
- Unix Operating System skills.
- Proficient with project management tools.
- Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Experience with AWS.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Slack.
