Job Description
This is a 6+ month contract position for a Senior Front End Developer to join a team and maintain and enhance business-critical web-based applications. The role involves developing quality mockups and prototypes, assisting back-end developers, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and modern frameworks is required.
Requirements
- 5+ years web application development experience
- 3+ years of working experience with Rails or another front-end framework
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Expert knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript/JQuery, HTML5/CSS3, bootstrap) and modern frameworks
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, jQuery, OOP, Bootstrap 3 or higher, Javascript ES6.
- Experience with SQL, Git, and working with APIs
- Experience with MiniTest/RSpec, Jasmine or other testing tool
- Experience with a continuous integration/continuous deployment process
