Job Description
This is a 1+ year contract position for a Senior Oracle DBA in Dimondale, Michigan. The role involves maintaining database performance, supporting database upgrades, data cleanup, conversion, and providing expertise in SQL, XML, and PL/SQL. It is important to be able to meet deadlines and work in a 24/7 environment.
Requirements
- Backup responsibility for Suspicious Filer Project
- Expertise in database performance tuning (bug fixing and production support)
- Data cleanup, conversions, and database scripting
- Experience with Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, Cisco Tidal Enterprise Scheduler
- Working knowledge of SQL, XML, and PL/SQL coding
- Windows server management experience
- Automating manual processes (Access to Teradata, MySQL, etc.)
