Job Description
We are seeking a SQL Database Administrator for a six-month contract position based in Scottsdale, Arizona. The role involves administering and supporting SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL databases, performing performance tuning and query execution analysis, and ensuring database architecture and security. Candidate will need to possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or a related field.
Requirements
- Administration, Development and support in SQL Server
- Administration, Development and support in Oracle
- Performance Tuning, Query Execution Plans, Stored Procedures, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Data Warehousing, and DBMS internals
- Database architectural design and performance assessments
- Windows Server 2008 R2 or higher
- Linux ksh/bash/csh experience
- Writing database server code, preferably T-SQL
- Minimum 1 year applicable experience in NoSQL database systems
- Minimum 1 year applicable experience in Cloud environments
