Job Description
This VMware Engineer position requires experience in managing and maintaining VMware virtualization environments, including vSphere, Orchestrator, Operations, and Log Insight. Responsibilities include project management, research, procurement, and providing technical leadership. The role requires detailed-oriented skills and adherence to change control procedures.
Requirements
- Must Haves: Enterprise-level experience
- Experience managing at least 200 hosts
- Windows and Linux servers
- VMware VCP or VCAP at an enterprise level
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, Python)
- Strong knowledge of Cisco UCS administration
- Strong knowledge of networking and storage concepts (VLANs, Trunking, FC, VSANs, Zoning)
- Knowledge of change control standards and procedures
- Fluency in VMware, Windows Server, and Linux Server administration.
