Assistant Resident Engineer

We are looking for an Assistant Resident Engineer to work on various Roadway Transportation construction projects located in San Diego County.

Requirements

• Abide by and enforce construction safety rules and regulations
• Read and understand contract documents, including plans and specifications
• Complete daily inspection reports
• Prepare written reports
• Perform inspection of roadway construction
• Oversee construction of wet and dry utilities
• Monitor traffic control
• Assist with inspection of large concrete pours
• Assist in the documentation of pay quantities and development of the Final Estimate
• Assure general compliance with standards and specifications
• Assure documentation, and accuracy of monthly progress payments
• Accurately track change order work
• Log and track material inspection, certification, and acceptance for the project
