Lead Structural Engineer, Rail + Transit

Requirements

• Work with diverse disciplines in horizontal and vertical structural design delivery
• Review engineering design, plans, specifications, and estimates in accordance with applicable design codes
• Ability to work as part of a team to provide deliverables and meet deadlines
• Ability to check drawings and to coordinate with clients
• Provide assistance to ensure that drawings, calculations and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards and strengths and follow Quality Assurance and Control procedure
• Assist in the preparation of project data for schedules, assist in preparing schedules and budgets in order to monitor progress reports
• Ability to provide quality control/quality assurance to ensure deliverables are of high quality and on-time
• Assist with proposal preparation and business development efforts
• Lead and mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure high-quality project delivery
• Other responsibilities as assigned
