Job Description
The Tyndale Company is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Specialist. This position will be responsible for timely and accurate posting of payments against open receivables, communicating short paid invoices or posting discrepancies, and escalating to the appropriate party for resolution at the time of posting.
Requirements
- Daily preparation and application of checks, ACH and credit card payments as well as an audit of the credit card charges
- Communicate and work with invoice specialists on short payments, over payments and prepayments
- Apply and post in unapplied cash accounts for prepayments
- Scan and save all backup from cash application batches
- Post miscellaneous transactions from cash application forms submitted by the department for unapplied cash and offsetting credits to invoices
- Assist Department with special projects and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the AR Manager
