Azure DevOps Engineer

UBDS is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join their growing Cloud Platforms team. This role involves delivering cloud transformation initiatives, managing Microsoft Azure solutions, and contributing to the design and development of cloud environments, ultimately modernising client technology estates.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in a cloud engineering role with a focus on Microsoft Azure
• Proven track record of delivering Azure build and migration projects, including enterprise-scale environments
• Experience deploying and managing both Windows and Linux virtual machines (VMs)
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code using ARM (Azure Resource Manager) templates and/or Terraform
• Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) or a demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Desirable Technical Competencies (Azure service areas listed separately)
