Job Description
Ubisoft is seeking a Lead 3D Programmer to join their team in Mainz to work on the Beyond Good and Evil 2 project. The role involves leading a team of 3D programmers, defining the technical vision for 3D programming, and making key architectural decisions. The ideal candidate has experience leading or mentoring programmers in a 3D or rendering-focused environment and excellent C/C++ skills.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in game development with strong 3D focus
- Excellent C/C++ skills and experience with real-time rendering systems
- Strong knowledge of 3D APIs, shaders, and rendering pipelines
- Solid understanding of CPU/GPU/memory performance trade-offs
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with international teams
- Experience with multi-platform development
- Experience developing or extending rendering engines or low-level 3D tools
