Senior Network Programmer - Beyond Good & Evil 2 - (H/F/NB)

Ubisoft is a global leader in the video game industry. We are looking for a Senior Network Programmer to join our team in Montpellier, France. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C++ and network APIs, with expertise in network replication and optimization. The role involves working with multiple teams to ensure the smooth functioning of our network architecture.

Requirements

• Excellent mastery of C++
• Good knowledge of network APIs
• Expertise in network replication in game engines
• Knowledge of network optimization and real-time performance
• Mastery of a game engine's network architecture
• Good understanding of other game engines
• Ability to technically supervise a team
• Strong autonomy and initiative to quickly tackle subjects, propose solutions, and drive progress without constant supervision
• Excellent communication skills to interact and collaborate effectively with GPP, Engine, Online, etc. teams
• Ability to estimate and manage workload well
• Long-term vision and continuous improvement of the architecture
