Job Description
UIC Science is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and appearance in the Ukpik Nest II building, Barrow Arctic Research Center, and related facilities. This role involves cleaning, sanitation, and routine maintenance tasks including waste management, equipment, and cleaning chemicals. The Housekeeper will also be responsible for reporting and responding to maintenance requests.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable and dependable with consistent attendance.
- Ability to operate standard cleaning equipment.
- Ability to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals and supplies.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
